Membership

Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to become a member of Poetry Scribes.  To be considered for membership, an applicant must attend at least one regular meeting and read three original poems to the members in attendance.  A vote will then be taken to accept the applicant.  Membership dues are $20.00 per year, to be paid in September or at the time of application.  This includes having two pages (40 lines each) of your own original poetry published in the historic "Turquoise Lanterns" anthology with one copy free of charge.  Additional copies can be ordered for $3.50 each in the fall or later if available.  This soft-cover book is published yearly and is distributed in December.
